Alicia is a recent graduate of Weber State University with a BFA emphasis in Costume Design.

She has over 25 design credits and has experience in several facets of the backstage and technical theatre world. This allows her to bring a well rounded, practical and thoughtful approach to her designs, while not sacrificing any of the quality or refinement.

“As a costume designer, my creativity lies in my ability to blend historical accuracy with character-driven storytelling. I have a deep appreciation for all eras of fashion, which allows me to draw inspiration from a wide range of styles while tailoring each design to fit the unique traits of the character and the actor portraying them.

My detail-oriented nature ensures that every costume element—down to the stitching and fabric choice—supports the narrative and enhances performance. With experience across various areas of theatre, I understand the collaborative process and bring strong communication skills to every production. I prioritize working closely with actors and directors to ensure that each costume not only looks visually compelling but also supports movement, mood, and personality. Rather than designing based on personal aesthetics alone, I create with intention and purpose, making each piece an essential part of the story being told on stage.”
